Grains
It includes bread, rice, pasta, cereal.Recommended amount: 6-11 servings daily.Why? Grains give us energy because they contain carbohydrates.
Vegetables and Fruits
Examples: spinach, carrots, broccoli.Recommended amount: 3-5 servings.Rich in vitamins, minerals, and fiber. Examples: apples, bananas, oranges.Recommended amount: 2-4 servings.Provides vitamins, especially Vitamin C, and natural sugars.
Protein and Dairy Products
